Our sympathy to all those who have been affected by FMD.

Although it has devastated the industry, we hope people will remain positive and consider restocking with Wedderlie AA suckler cows or investing in an AA herd to run alongside their other enterprises. No other herd in the UK can provide the choice of numbers, quality and consistency.

In the restructuring of the beef industry, quality, traceability and a guaranteed demand for the product will be essential. We know Aberdeen Angus cattle fit the bill and demand for their beef will increase.

As our Second Annual Production Sale in September is unlikely to take place, we can offer a flexible ‘package’ or 'batched' lots of females to match your requirements.

For example, purchasers could opt for a select herd of mixed age cows and heifers or a number of heifers only, with or without a stock bull and for spring or autumn calving. There is a choice of 100 in-calf spring calving cows with calves at foot, 70 autumn calving cows, 70 in-calf autumn or spring calving heifers and 50 weaned heifers – this provides a comprehensive selection!

In certain circumstances, we could make arrangements to hold these cattle for some months.
