All Saint's Kimcote
The church of All Saints is a building of the 12th and 13th century, consisting of a chancel, nave and north aisle, with a square pinnacled tower and 4 bells: the church was restored throughout, and seated with open benches in 1869, at a cost of about £2000: the west window in the nave and north aisle, and the one in nave are memorial windows of stained glass: the chancel contains a credence and piscina, in good preservation : on the southside of the chancel arch is a staircase which formerly gave access to the rood-loft: the clock in the tower was the gift of the Dowager Lady Willoughby de Broke. The register dates from the year 1633. The living is a rectory, yearly value £650 with residence, in the gift of the Dowager Lady Willoughby de Broke, and held by the Rev. Thomas Cox, M.
