This is a model of a 2 foot gauge type 27A Wickham Permanent Way Gang Trolley.
The design was built over many years in both standard and narrow gauges. The model
was built by Mark from a kit by P & J Models. It is powered by two AA batteries
with a very simple chassis using a rubber band to give 4 wheel drive. Rewiring the batteries
from parallel to series has brought speed up to something that can just about keep up
with the other engines but with reduced duration. |
