Cornish Shipwreck: On 3rd May 1855, the emigrant barque 'John' left Plymouth for Quebec. It sank later that day off St Keverne, Cornwall. These pages tell the story of the 'John', include a transcript of the trial of the Captain, and list all of the crew and passengers.
