Settling in at a New School (Year 7) |

Dear Sammy,
When I was going to the CTC, I was pretty nervous. It felt really weird being the smallest in the school instead of being the oldest I was really nervous when I wnet into my first lesson because I did not know how my new teacher was going to be. I felt better during the day because I was getting used to my new, big school. I met my new tutor in the morning and his name is Mr Willimott. He is new to the school as well because he only started two weeks ago. I met some new friends and the teachers seem to be very nice but that will soon change I was really surprised to see so many people in one school. My first impressions at school were that I was going to be bullied and picked on by older people but I was not and I thought that the teachers would make me do things that I did not understand but they did not I did not think that I would know my way around but I have a good idea of where things are. I have got a locker and I have already got some homework. I hope that I will soon know where everything is around school and that I have made a good impression on the school I hope that I will get better at my work and get a good education to go to college with, and as I go through school I will hopefully get better on the computers. I have some teachers called Mrs Rust who is our Maths teacher, Mr Williams who is our RE teacher, Miss Braud who is our French teacher and our Principal is Mr Newman and our Vice-Principals are Mr Jones and Mr Simpson I think I am going to really enjoy the CTC and I will get a brilliant education Tracey |
