Today he bases himself in the USA,
where his virtuosity combined with the most wonderful of stage presence
has made him hugely popular, and Genoa.
So far he's recorded 6 albums, four of his own and one with various celebrated guitarists, and one with Tony Trischka. He's recorded a tuitional video, written 5 books on music, and one book on cookery - 'Recipes from the Homeland'. HISTORY IN THE MAKING..... It was on a recent visit to Glasgow's celebrated Celtic Connections Festival this year, where he performed to standing ovations, that the theme for his forthcoming tour was mooted. Sitting outside (yes, it was actually warm in January) a cafe on Glasgow Central Railway Station drinking capuccino with fellow guitarists Chris Newman and Dan Crary, and a nameless music agent, a chance remark was taken up. Beppe would not only give a concert for everyone but he'd also use his culinary skills to prepare a simple but tasty pasta supper for the audience, in this case Pasta e Broccoli., from his recipe book. Music and Pasta - the two complement each other perfectly. This April and May 2002 Beppe is back for a month-long tour with virtuoso bluegrass flat-pickin' guitarist Dan Crary. It's a mix of concerts, festivals, and workshops to promote their endorsement with Taylor Guitars.
