CELTIC ARTISTS:

Jerry Holland (Canada):  Simply the Godfather of all the Cape Breton fiddlers yet he's a mere youngster!  Tours with accompanying pianist & guitarist.

Luar Na Lubre (Galicia) One of Spain's best kept secrets is about to be revealed when this band tour in July 2003.  Scheduled at present to play the Celtic Hebridean Festival, and Sesiwn Fawr, we're tremendously excited at the prospect of presenting this 8-piece band who combine pipes, fiddle, guitars, and percussion in a way which can only be described as 'Spanish-Celtic'.  July 17: Celtic Hebridean Festival, 18: Chichester Cathedral, 19: Sesiwn Fawr, Dolgellau.

Rag Foundation (Wales):  A five-piece band who make a surprisingly big sound and manage to put across the great South Wales tradition in a way which appeals to folkies and clubbers alike.  Quite unusual and quite brilliant !

Gwerinos (Wales):  This 7-piece band is spearheading the new Celtic sound from Wales.

La Volee d'Castors (Quebec):  A slimmed down and younger 6-piece version of La Bottine Souriante, from Quebec, they were voted Best New Folk Artists 1999-2000.  They scored a massive success at last year's Cambridge Folk Festival:

"The discovery of the weekend, though, was Quebec's La Volee d'Castors, a six-piece maelstrom of Acadian/Celtic tunes and ballads, forging their own distinctive path along the trail first blazed by their compatriots La Bottine Souriante (The Independent 9.8.2002)  http://www.vdc.qc.ca

We are currently planning to tour them in the UK in November 2003.

JP Cormier (Cape Breton)

Back after too long an absence the awesome talents of this fiddler, guitarist, and songwriter have been sorely missed. Touring in January 2004
