's Playgroup and Pre-School
St Chad's Playgroup and pre-school offers a happy and caring environment for
children aged 2½ - 4 yrs. Our
aim is to provide a warm and caring environment, in which your child can
learn and develop to his or her full potential. Our children learn through
play, in a secure but challenging environment. With the support of an
adult they explore, develop and achieve on an individual basis. Children
in our care are encouraged to express their own ideas and feelings to
build their confidence and self esteem. Our environment promotes physical,
mental, and emotional health and well being.
Play underpins all development and learning for children. Through
carefully planned activities our children develop intellectually,
creatively, physically, socially and emotionally. We use the concept of
continuous provision to ensure that all our children develop in all the
areas of learning.
We
implement the Early Years Foundation Stage framework that is required by
the Department for Children, Schools and Families from September
2008.
Sessions
run in term time from 9.30 a.m. - 12 noon, from Monday to Friday.
We have an open door policy within our setting.
