Welcome to Martin Angold's homepage
This site is to aid genealogists as it has some of the history that we have found related to our ancestors. The Angold family has been traced back to the 16th century in East Anglia in England. During the 19th century at least two brothers emigrated to N. America, one settled in Canada and the other in the USA. At about the same time some of the family moved from East Anglia to London. Most stayed there but some moved to the Manchester, England, area. There are also branches of the family in Australia, Germany and Russia. A few family members in the UK, USA and Canada are researching our family history. We would like to hear from others that have an interest in our family name and who may have some links.
