Molecular Orbitals of the cis-Cyclic Water Pentamer, (H₂O)₅

This is a local minimum energy structure for the cis structure. It is not the mainly-trans global minimum for a water cyclic pentamer (COW, 168 KB). 

 

Orbitals start at zero, so the 11^th lowest energy orbital shown previously is orbital 10.

 

• Rotate: Drag left mouse button.
• Zoom: Drag right mouse button up and down.
• Pan: Drag right mouse button left or right.
• Menu: Double right-click for options; for example, changing the orbital number, rendering or background
