The Link between K⁺-Carboxylates on Neighboring Protein Chains

Two K⁺-carboxylate ion pairs on different protein chains are linked by fully tetrahedrally hydrogen-bonded network. Only the oxygen atoms of the network water molecules are shown and no account is made of the exclusion/hydrogen bonding around the partial peptide chains.
