The Lost Gardens of Heligon

Heligon is a semi-stately home in Cornwall. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries a series of large houses were built along the banks of the river Fal and its tributaries. They all had large gardens, most of which fell into disuse during and after the First World War. Several have been recently restored, and Heligon is one of these. It has several interesting horticultural features, such as this giant head.
