Artists

Eddie Barclay - The legendary Sandwick crooner first appeared on BleatBeat Records last year with his album "Lang Lippened". The album was a huge success, selling over 850 copies in 10 days - making it the fastest selling album by a Shetland artist. "Lang Lippened" was Eddie's welcome return to recording after a 15 year absence. A second album, "Tinkin Lang", hit the shops Xmas 2003 and faired equally well..

Bitumen River - Shetland's very own "noise terrorists" . Unleashing the rage and at the same time harnassing something close to a melody. BR are Shetland's most exciting live band. They have recently suceeded where many have fallen and managed to take their live show to enthusiastic audiences on the UK mainland.

Ellie Mulhern - Born in Shetland, now living and gigging on the mainland. When still a  a bairn, her breathtaking vocals earned her many pluadits when performing at school concerts and on the radio. A rough demo recorded when she was only 15 was given to Marvin and Alan by her father and resulted in the BleatBeat duo charting her progression and ultimately her debut release.   She moved to Aberdeen to study and further her career at 17. Now performing with her brother Andrew she regularly plays around Scotland.

“...a quite incredible talent... audience stunned into silence ... a star is born .... a breathtaking talent…”
