Visiting my Daughter in Kent last weekend, I
was taken to dinner at the above Restaurant, which specialises in the food of
Portugal, by her and her boyfriend and two of their friends.
It was very busy and to get a table on a
Saturday night booking is essential. Great atmosphere, mainly due to a
large table of 12 drunken Irishmen and women!
We had good starters of Prawn Cocktails and
Mussels, very generous portions. The 2 guys had steak and lobster, my
daughter had steak on a plank, her friend had plaice in a lovely creamy sauce
and I had sautéed cod and Parma ham, all very yummy. It was nice
to have a selection of good vegetables i.e. spinach, red cabbage and celery.
Everything was excellent, the staff were very friendly and with copious
amounts of alcohol and only 2 desserts and coffee the...
