V200 016 was built by MAK and entered service in 1957. It was renumbered 220 016 in 1968 and was withdrawn from DB service on 30th December 1982. After a period on storage, it was sold to the Swiss Railways (SBB) in 1986 where it was designated as "Am 4/4" and numbered 18 464. It was withdrawn from SBB service on 31st August 1996. In 1997 it was sold to the Gesellschaft zur Erhaltung Historischer Schienenfahrzeuge (GES) who then either loaned or sold it to Eisenbahnbetriebe Mittlerer Neckar GmbH. It is based in Kornwestheim, Germany and is now numbered V200 016.
