220 047 at Wingst on 15th April 1980. [Keith Bullock]V200 047 was built by Krauss Maffei and entered service in 1956. It was renumbered 220 047 in 1968 and was withdrawn from DB service on 21st March 1981. According to the Eisenbahn Journal "V200 Special" magazine, this locomotive was scrapped at Aw Nürnburg.
However, the German website "Die Lokomotive" has a handy database which claims this locomotive was sold to the Italian private operator Ferrovia Suzzara-Ferrara (FSF). The entry gives no date for this and extensive searching of web links has yet to reveal a picture of this specific locomotive in FSF ownership.
