Optical illusions.

One of my favourite things are optical illusions. They fascinate me. I must warn you that if you have problems with your eyes you may want to avoid looking at some of these illusions. Have fun!!!!

Can you see the baby?

Is she inside or hanging out the window?

Clouds or boats?

Are these cogs really moving?

Skaters in the sky!!

Can you see the horses?

Can you see the 3 faces?

Right side up it's a giant bird........

Upside down it's a guy catching a big fish.......

Stare at the ladies eyes for a while and she'll open them.

See it? Sit further back and look where her pupils would be.

Is the left centre circle bigger?

No, they are the same size.

Is the book towards you or away from you?

There's a piece of cheese missing, or is there?

What is this? A beggar or a face?

Can you see the dog?

Are the holes on the top or bottom?

Can you see the face in this picture?

What do you see besides a man, two people kissing?

Can you find the other 4 wolves in the rocky cliffs?

Stare at the black lightbulb for at least 30 seconds. Then immediately stare at a white area on the screen or a sheet of paper.

Are you looking at this cylinder from left to right or right to left?

Which man is the tallest in the picture below? Look closer. All three are exactly the same size.

Are the lines below straight or crooked?

Watch the lines move around the sphere. Do they appear to periodically change direction?

An Eskimo or an Native American?

Rectangles or diamonds? Or both?

See the triangle? It actually doesn't exist. The angles on the three images, however, give the appearance that it does.

Woman in vanity or skull?

Look at how this triangle was built. If you know a mathematician, architect or have a math teacher who has net access, tell him/her to check this out. Logically it just doesn't fit.

Keep your eyes on the dot. Is it in front, or in back of the cube? In front or in back - That is the question!

Here is a helpful hint: the Rabbit faces one direction, and the duck the other,

If you look closely at the crate, you will see that it can not be built, only drawn.

Make sure you are relaxed. Keep your eyes on the lighter areas where the black lines intersect. You should probably notice circles coming from the center of the design. The trick is that a light color appears brighter when it contrasts against a darker color. So, people see the areas adjacent to the intersections to be slightly brighter, causing what appears to be circles.

In this illustration, the stairs should turn upside down during a steady gaze. The wall with the floating glass sphere will shift from the foreground to the background. Of course, if you originally saw the background as the foreground, you will notice a change from the background to the foreground.

Stare at the picture (on the left) for about 45 seconds. Then, stare at the white section of this image (the right section). You should see the Queen again. Keep your concentration, and for those 45 seconds, don't take your eyes off the picture.

Never ending staircase!!!!!

How many legs has this elephant got?

This picture is ambiguous in three ways: As a small cube in front of a larger cube; As a large cube with a corner cubelet cut out; As a small cube inside three perpendicular adjoining planes.

Is it a drawing of a pretty young girl looking away from us? Or is it an older woman looking down at the floor?

A wine goblet - or two faces in profile?

Do you only see black shapes on white - or a word?

Concentrate on the four dots in the middle of the picture for about 30 seconds. Then close your eyes and tilt your head back. Concentrate on the circle of light and an image should appear - spookey eh??

Just count the little black balls...

Do The Black Lines Appear To Bend?

Stare at the black dot... After a while the grey haze will begin to shrink!

Stare at the dot in the centre and move your head in and out.
