Tuesday 28th December found 3 vehicles on a
trip to the plain to experience the terrain used by HM forces for artillery
manoeuvres. We were a little disappointed to find that the perimeter roads
were made up with type 1 |

We are warned by various signs to stay to the tracks in case we got blown up by stray ordnance! With this backdrop we were hoping for an early barbeque but it seems that Wiltshire cattle are fitted with anti bomb devices! Oh well pub lunch again! |

Ah! A wheel wash – that’s handy Harry! This puddle was checked for depth before negotiating. It was about 3-400mm deep – just right for clean tyres! |
