I have in the last year or so (September 2007) taken a liking to Tamiya's newish 1/48th scale range of military kits. While I must admit to liking the 1/35th scale for better detail. I soon found myself running out of space. What kind of a scale is 1/35th anyway? it makes no sense at all, it doen't match with anything!! 1/48th scale is 4' or 48 inches to an inch, 1/4 inch equals 12 inches or about 30cm to 6.3mm, easy to scale, build for. It also goes nicely with the 1/48th scale Aircraft ranges...
