WHERE & WHEN

Some years ago, a group of Felixstowe residents got together to form a charity to organise and run a Remembrance Festival (similar, but on a smaller scale, to the Royal Albert Hall). The "Theme" -

We take the last number of the year - 8 this year - and try to find appropriate "memories" in past years ending in that number.

This year we will remember the defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1558, the last cavalry charge at the Battle of Omdurman in 1898, the end of World War I in 1918, the Malaysian Campaign and many other anniversaries.

Our Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen and Civilian Emergency personnel are still paying the ultimate sacrifice today around the World and they too must not and will not be forgotten.

The FESTIVAL is held every year on the Saturday evening closest to Remembrance Day (11th November) at the

SPA PAVILION THEATRE & RESTAURANT, FELIXSTOWE

This year it will be held on

Saturday 8h NOVEMBER 2008

Doors open at 6:00 pm and the Festival begins at 7:00 pm.

HOW DO YOU GET A TICKET?

Because we are a charity, all tickets are obtained through Civilian and Military Groups and Associations with a connection to "Service to Our Country" and are therefore "By Invitation". The donation for each ticket is £6. If your association or group would like to attend and have an enjoyable and memorable evening, whilst supporting local organisations and keeping alive the need for "Remembrance", please E.mail for details below.

Please contact us!

Even if you are an individual or couple or family and would like to attend, please contact us, as above.

"We Will Remember Them"

"When you go home tell them of us and say - For your tomorrow we gave our today."
