Business or pleasure - relax in style in the heart of Southport The Metropole Hotel situated just 100 yards from Southport's famous Lord Street and a four minute walk from the railway station. Seating up to 65 people, our elegant restaurant on the ground floor offers a delicious selection of the freshest and finest produce prepared daily. A sample menu is available here. Our chef will also be happy to cater for any of your dietary or vegetarian requirements and your meal can, of course, be complimented with a choice from our superb wine list.

Two lounges provide the opportunity to read or just sit and relax and the ground floor television room enables you to watch your favourite programmes without the necessity of retreating to your room.

Our Cocktail Bar, which is open to none residents, has a friendly atmosphere and serves a range of draft beers and spirits. Well known for our competitive prices, for example Tetley bitter £1.76 per pint, branded spirits £2.25 a double. We also offer late facilities for residents. Our self contained snooker room has a full size table with a 3" Welsh slate bed and has proved a popular addition to our facilities.

We like to pride ourselves on the quality of our twenty-three en-suite bedrooms which provide a mixture of single, double and four family rooms. All rooms are tastefully furnished, centrally heated and have colour television, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.
