NRAE & RAE Exam Results awaited. The candidates who sat the NRAE and RAE in December 2000, are eagerly awaiting their results which should be out in the middle of January. Hopefully, some new callsigns will be aired soon afterward, and their partcipation in the hobby will be welcomed.

Interclub sked With Bavaria An interclub sked with the Landshut Bavaria club members held on a Saturday in December was very successful with 5-6 transmitting stations and many more listening on this side, and several on the German side partcipating. Amongst the matters discussed were the proposed interclub visit to Bavaria sometime in the summer of 2001. MFARS members, (and others interested) are invited to join the trip to visit the members of the Landshut club. Landshut in southern Bavaria is the twin town of Elgin, and the two cloubs have had many exchanges, including a visit last summer by nine from there for a week, culminating in participation in ssb field day contest, and a very enjoyable barbeque in Garmouth afterward.
