-------------------------------------ORDERING--------------------------------------------

27/03/00

As I do not like the hassle of sending off for stuff by post I usually use my credit card and order by phone. I phoned the kit manufacturer WALFORD ELECTRONICS and spoke to the proprieter Tim Walford who confirmed the price £163 + £1 p&p ( I am ordering the version with the digital display ) but reluctantly he did not have the facilities to take a credit card payment so I would have to use my cheque book after all,

I sent off my cheque on the Tuesday and the kit arrived on the Friday, and I must say that at first sight there is certainly an impressive amount of parts, there is also a build manual which looks to be fairly detailed and several copies of ( The HOT IRON ) which is a constructors club magazine ( I have never heard of them before ). so far so good

I will give a further update when I start building the rig, however if you get RADCOM then turn to page 38 of the April 2000 edition for their reveiw of the rig by MOAYB
