It is with great
pleasure that I am now able to report to you that over 50% of census records
for the 1891 census for Lincolnshire, are now on-line. This is a great
achievement when this has been completed without the help of local societies.
The Executive will no doubt wish to join me in giving our grateful thanks to
all who have helped and are continuing to help on this project.
I would like to thank all of you for your patience over this difficult time I have had in recent months with my wife having a major operation. I am pleased to say she is progressing well but I am still having to deal with most of the housework.
Validation etc is
taking a back seat at present although as you all know I keep the County
“ticking over”.
If any of you
have friends or you are just a visitor to this site, please let me know if
there is an interest in joining us.
Help would be appreciated on the recruiting side if anyone feels they would like the challenge. It is a challenge these days with people willing to pay vast amounts of cash(well- it is to me!) for pay as you view sites.
If all the people
who subscribe to these sites did at least one piece-
With best wishes to all
