...The only website for the young ringer

There are loads of cool websites themed around ringing on the web. Here's links to some of them.

The Ringing World's Web Site

The ringers journal is online too. At their website you can submit peals and quarters, read the history of the RW and subscribe for your own copy.

The Central Council's Web Site

Here you can access details about the Duke of Edinburgh Award, details about affiliated societies and their representatives.

The Sherbourne Teaching Aid Web Site

This is the web site for the Sherbourne teaching aids, where you can order these really useful little booklets for learners, method makers and loads of other cool stuff!

Roger Bailey's Ringing Resources

www.ringing.info

This is like an encyclopedia of ringing sites on the web

The Handbell Ringers of Great Britain

This is the home page for the Hanbell Ringers of Great Britain. Here you can find everything you ever wanted to know about handbells!

The Duke of Edinburgh Award

This is the Website for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, where you can get guidelines for the award and all the other info that you need.

Ringing Games

www.squidsoftware.co.uk/Products/LTL/ltl.htm

www.g8hqy.btinternet.co.uk/software/index.htm

These are sites where you can download games that help you practice your ringing skills, and are also good fun at the same time.

John Ketteringham's Bell Recordings

This is a wikked site where you can find recordings (alphabetically listed) of bells. So if you were organising an outing, you could pick which towers you wanted to go to and then find out what they sound like before you ring there!

Campanophile

www.campanophile.co.uk

This is really great! It's a bit like an online version of the Ringing World- you can read articles, notices, etc, but also really recent peals and quarters are posted there too! The best bit is...it's free

East to Recall- UK Website Directory

www.easytorecall.com/bellringing.htm

This is (I think) a non-ringer's view on ringing and his low down on the best ringing sites on the web. (2/4/04 - MS added!!!) No seriously, it's quite interesting to see how ringing websites are viewed by non-ringers. Check it out for yourself!

Peal Ringer Totals

www.towerbase.dsl.pipex.com/peals/index.html

How many peals have you rung? If you've ever rung a peal in the last 10 years, the statistics will be on here.
