...The only website for the young ringer

Here are the weird variations that were previously on 'New and Different methods', for the year 2002.

For December's special brain teaser we had something with a festive theme- 'White Christmas Special Alliance Minor'! (It's a bit of a mouthful to say)

Last month we had 'Sandcastle Caters', which is a 9 bell principle, constructed by Matthew Dawson.

This is a method constructed by Robert Wallis, 'Wallis Differential Major'. This is an unusual method, because both the treble and the tenor plain hunt.

These are two methods that have already been named and rung, but have unusual names!

First we have 'Cream Cheese Surprise Minor'.

Here is the second method, 'Friday the 13th Surprise Minor', chosen because of the date that the site was updated!

These are two previous methods, both on the theme of sweets!

First we have 'Gobstopper Minor'. This was an unusual method, because there are 24 changes in each lead, and so the treble plain hunts out to the back twice in each lead!

Here was the second method, 'Candyfloss Surprise Major'!

This is 'Junction Treble Place Major'.

Giving you a bargain, here was a second method, 'Campanile Minor'!

Methods constructed by Matthew Dawson.

This is 'Heavy metal Alliance Minor'. There was a challenge (for anyone who was crazy enough) to ring it on a ring of bells over a ton!
