Simple finder bracket
suitable for the unit-power and other small finders
I've always found the small three-point ring type bracket a total pain to align. This simple job is dead easy and takes seconds to align accurately.
Materials:
Two small corner brackets.
Three 15mm M5 bolts with washers and wing nuts.
Small pipe clip to fit finder.
Tools:
Drill with 6mm bit.
Construction:
Drill a hole in the base of the pipe clip and insert a bolt to attach this to one of the brackets. Join the brackets with another bolt, washer and wing nut and attach the assembly to the telescope tube likewise. That's it!
