Welcome to the website of the Aylesbury Vale Primary Schools Athletics Association.

For many years the association has provided athletic competition for pupils in the Aylesbury Vale area with the traditional events being the annual cross country races at Wing and the track and field championships, which in recent years have been held at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium facility.

Recent innovations have included a Key Stage 1 competition and also some in-service training where athletic coaches have worked with teachers to improve their confidence in teaching such athletic disciplines as shot put, relay baton changing and long jump.

The association receives no financial support and relies on school affiliation fees as well as income generated from spectators at cross country and athletics meetings.

The association is managed by a small committee of volunteers who report annually to member schools at the Annual General Meeting in November. New committee members are always welcome
