Forever this Way

When the day comes in with partial sun
And shadows move with pain
When I am feeling kinda frozen
All it takes is one look and you... and you
melt the ice and take my pain away
Your eyes they see right through
There are no changing faces
I can be myself with you
You understand me
Guiding my mind and heart
in all that I do
Passing the time always knowing what to say
Make this last ...never to slip away
In everything we do...I want this quiet peace to stay
Forever and ever this way

RECURRING WICKED WIND

Lying in my bed I hear the wind outside my windowpane
Wind WHIRLS OF EMPTINESS
Rusted wind chimes that sit on my fence play a scary tune
Haunting and disturbing... feeling my life's confusion.
with every gusts pulling from inside
An angry wind once again drawing you further from me
Can our love withstand this wicked SPELL
THRUSTING THROUGH THE AIR
wild wicked wind blow away and
return his love to me

Inside Myself

There is a place I know
The only place I go to feel complete
Inside myself
soul is home for me
My chance to just be
Truer...
Wiser... braver... free
The only way to calm my troubled seas.... Has got to come from me.

With eyes wide open
I find my place
In here there is no time or space
Only shadows of my heart replaced
Light of love
No regret
Nor fret

When all seemed lost, and broken dreams had brought me down
He whispered to me, you can do anything you want to do
Each day your whole life through...
There with a comforting hand, touching so gently
helping me understand
Just when I needed him the most...
He takes my hand and holds me tight
I cling to him with all my might
HE will always be there and this I know
Even when the harsh winds blow
I want to thank you for that second chance
for giving me back life's romance
With you I feel rest within

SAW YOUR FACE IN A CLOUD

I lay in the grass on this beautiful day
all around me there are children at play
As I watch the gray blue clouds drift away..
Funny I thought I saw your face in a cloud..
you look so beautiful to me..
visions of you in all that I see
Your face like a angel and you were smiling at me
Sky turns to gray as your face fades away
I didn't quite hear what you were trying to say
Rain cloud above
What an incredible day
Love rain down on me!

Deathless Love

You have been cast adrift to life's great sea....
but yet..
your love guides me with an unseen force
that one can't see or hear
your love flows through me when all seems dark
casting a luminous shadow around my heart
bringing a warm and hopeful glow
your love like a revolving door deep within my soul
Never ending.. no beginning..
A deathless love for your heart above
Always remembered every moment you are never far away
Your message is in the stars that rise ...and in the setting sun

If the only place I could love you

placed delicately in the palms of your hands
I would bring it to you with love

I love you in the fathomless depths
of my heart and soul
that even I can't comprehend

that no one else could dare venture

Is Love a Disease

Is Love a Disease?
Is heartbreak its cure...
heartbreak that cascades down upon me like tumultuous rain.
Then it happened...
I don't know what exactly happened...
My memories are being washed away
by the flowing of my tears
The glow which captured his face is forever gone
replaced by a vacuous stare
So..I pray you flee far from me
I believe I am a carrier of this disease
which enslaved me and made me its unwilling victim
and I cannot endure its pain nevermore again

No More Silence

There are many deeply hidden secrets in my heart
I never have spoken of for fear they would be misunderstood
But, I come to know you're feeling this way too
Come, my love, walk with me--talk with me
Let's share our sameness
The silence may only divide us in two!
Let's let this love heal our souls,
combining and bonding our God given strengths,
making our hearts beat and pound so hard in our chests!
You are the one who matters most in this world to me!
I need you more then words can say,
and I know that our love will unfold one day!
I will be here for you until I know all is okay!

A WALK IN THE SUN

I know what it is and I like what I see
This may explain how it feels on me
Even though it is new and still very young
It's been getting stronger since the day it begun

You are the wind that caught and filled my sail
And started me upward to a celestrial trail
From where i was I looked down all had started to
dance
Back to your eyes I did glance
And there it was written it wasnt by chance

Its like a rhyme that doesnt need sound
Just you and me and time that never touched
ground
Then again I looked and I knew what was down
And all that surrouned me suddenly seemed
sweet
All the energy needed to turn two into one
You showed me when you took me for a
WALK IN THE SUN

CHILDREN OF WAR

Children of War

Who will be there
to listen
to the voices of the children?
They deserve a future of peace!

Who will be there
for the children
when their Moral rights
are taken from them,
and when their families are separated
and killed in a sickening war?

Who will be there
for the children
in their moments of darkness?

How can I help?
How can I right this human wrong?
Does one wait and hope that God will prevail?

These children of war
deserve so much more.
They need their tomorrow's
with visions of hope, and
no more sorrow to bog them down.

Give them back
the stars to rise,
and the sun to set,
a life free of anger and distress.

Who will be there
for the children of war?
Make room in your hearts
for a future of peace for ever more!

Forever Spring

The flowers are blooming and the sun wants to shine
The winter will soon be far behind
The sweet smell of spring is almost here
And our love like the wind will wild the air
Take love by the hand and gaze in its eyes
And the distance between here and there is less then realized
On that spring day our loves comes alive!
