On your way home to your loved ones
A great carpenter I’m told you were
Aunt Chrissie, your beloved tools she did keep
The Lord’s Prayer the masterpiece created by your hands
Is safe with my brother to be passed down the line
To tell all of your great skill
Your pictures, how full of life you were
To be taken at such a young age
Brought sadness and joy
Your family mourned you, but your son was born
I went to Wales and met your child, John Joseph
A great man he’s turned out to be
My brother Edward John was named after you
He is proud of the honour bestowed on him
You are with your family once more
A memorial in Caernarfon is set in your honour
I know one day we will meet
