Have a Cuppa! with Mike

Forever
You whisper compassion for honesty's sake...
such heartfelt connection to each mistake
I've ever made... wading me through lakes
of life...forever having faith in me.
Your genuine smiles decorate my face--
offering contentment a resting place
within my heart...tied with ribbons and lace
of lasting love... forever bound to loyalty.
My heartbeats of dedication have grown
remarkably stronger... matching your own
lifelong commitments... most tenderly sewn
in truth... forever shared eternally.

Loving Water
Of course, the water calls her name--
every ripple--each wave the same
today as in past days.
Of course, she hears and answers
every splash--each trickling sound
outlasts the last.
Of course, she respects all water
that greets her. The pooling meets her
where she stands--
as she demands
nothing.
Of course, her waters know that--
ripples show that--in a water smile.
After a while, she'll smile back
to nothing she lacks.
When she befriends each wave
she's believing she can savor
every drop.
She'll not stop
loving water.

So Magically
Yesterday's awesome rays
extended moments of wonder
as her heartbeats of thunder
knew power in believing--
showed promise in healing
through wishes and dreams.
While reflecting, it seems
sunlight sparkles
did bless her.
All warmth did
caress her.
She owned
every moment
in the sun. She'd begun
breathing in
faith and hope--
she'd elope
with the sun
to come alive--
to survive
colder
seasons of life.
Sunshine rays
did befriend her.
Sunlight would lend her
promised rainbows.
She'd surrender
to tender
sun romancing,
often
trance dancing--
belonging to
daylight's spell.
One can tell
she's born to glow.
She won't outgrow
sparkling moments--
toasting to love
rising above
all rays of hope--
greeting each day
thanking the sun
she's become one
to realize
it's no surprise
she can survive.
With open eyes
she'll feel and see
the warmth of rays
she knows she owns
so magically.~Sky

"She Knows"
She knows candles
She knows music
She knows heartbeats
Yes, she does
She's a feeler
She's a dreamer
Always will be
Always was
lit with wonder
like the candle
melting slowly
to the tune
of each moment
in her lifetime
If a moment
ends too soon
She'll discover
nothing's over
not forgotten
not at all
In her lifetime
every moment
counts for something
She'll recall
warmth of candles
soothing music
deepest feelings
every dream
She'll remember
many wishes
granted to her
She has seen
many wonders
dance to music
sing to laughter
breathing proud
She is happy
to be someone
living life
loving out loud
