The BMSS Platinum Figures series was released in 2005 to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the British Model Soldier Society which was founded in 1935. This was also the year of the Silver Jubilee of King George V and the Platinum Series depicts the Royal Party as they appeared at the Silver Jubilee Service in St Paul's Cathedral, 1935.
