Charity Donations

There are various options to making you 2012 donation:-

1. Using a Standing Order Mandate direct from your bank account to 'Cae Glas SMCA' Charity Register No.216754. This account is at Barclays Bank plc Sort Code 207785 Account Number 30128740. You can give once a year or split it up in monthly payments, your donation will appear on the Cae Glas SMCA monthly statments which the Charity Steward receives and check each month. You can download a Mandate form below.
2. Direct electronic transfer using your internet bank account into 'Cas Glas SMCA' Sort Code 207785 Account Number 30128740 but please make your you fill in the additional information box with your name so that I can identify the donation. Also, just as a check, email the Charity Steward the detail when you are using this method of payment.
3. Send me a cheque made payable to "Cae Glas SMCA", the Charity Steward address is on the front of each summons.
4. You can give the Charity Steward cash at the meeting.

Whatever method you use, each donation will have a receipt number and this is used to track donations into the "Cae Glas SMCA" account. Note, all monies paid into the Cae Glas SMAC account is transfered into the Provincial "SMCA" account and their split between 'A' and 'B' fund. 'A' fund is for Grand Lodge and 'B' fund is for Provincial masonic charities. The split varies but presently for each yearly donation £10 goes to 'A' and the rest to 'B'.

Your Yearly Statement

For each lodge member the Charity Steward will produce a personal yearly charity statement wich will show the previous 2 years personal and the total lodge donations. Form 2011 these totals do not show what money has been claimed back by Gift Aid as this is done Provinice. These statements are normally produced in January and handed out in the Febuary meeting. If members are not present at that meeting the statement would be emailed by the Charity Steward.
