Life History
Victor Frederick STIMPSON was born on 17-Apr-1901 at Standlake being the youngest son of Thomas STIMPSON and Annie nee KING. By the time of the 1911 census, Victor was aged 9 and living at Appleford with his parents. Victor married Mary (Molly) Williams in 1937 and had 2 daughters Audrey and Shirley. He was later divorced from his wife. Victor worked for the Work police and later lived at Tubney woods Oxfordshire. He spent the last years of his life in Wooton and died in 1975.
Hobbies & pastimes.
Victor kept racing pigeons for a while, and was known to win a prize at the Grove vegetable show for his large carrots grown in the sandy soil of his Tubney woods garden.
