It was Sunday 18th August 2002. The sun shone all day, and the Sports field at Appleton, Oxon was transformed into an arena of events previously not experienced within the village.
Entry was free of charge and all who attended had a good time.
There was:-
Morris Dancing
A Silver band
Abingdon Fencing Club demonstrations
Demonstration of Medieval battle dress by the Journeymen
Amateur radio demonstration
Magician
and stalls and games to amuse and entertain throughout the afternoon.
