Song writing

During my PGCE I wrote and devised a unit of
work for year 9 students to help them with song writing. Since then I
have discovered that pupils of this age find this difficult. For this
reason I now teach song writing in year 10 with my GCSE candidates.
You may find various chapters of my essay of interest. Feel free to
use these ideas. I continually add resources and change ways I teach
topics and so additional worksheets can also be tested. If you have
any comments or wish to share ideas/resources about this topic please
contact me.
