Just like a Western Orchestra the
Classical Chinese Orchestra has four sections. However the
families of instruments are different. In the Western
orchestra the sections of the orchestra are the strings, woodwind,
brass and percussion. The Chinese orchestra is made up of the
bowed strings, plucked strings, winds and percussion.
