January 2004

During January 2004, I visited Toronto and the Niagara Falls during a visit on business. The following photos were taken during that visit, in the depths of the winter with the temperatures staying steadily below -10 degrees centigrade.

Near where the Niagara river flows into Lake Ontario.

At the Niagara falls on the Canadian side - the clouds coming up from the falls obscure their true size.

Looking down Niagara river towards the American falls.

One of my favourite views of the Canadian falls.

Another favourite view, looking upstream towards an abandoned barge which has been there for many years.
