Problems

We need to fully catalogue the Museum's collection according to international standards. Currently the objects are standing on the bare floor while some are hung from the walls. The gallery requires further renovation to better accommodate the collection. The director needs basic education in Museum management and conservation techniques. The museum needs exposure to sources of funding and related networks.

Future Projects

It is intended to work toward the establishment of a modern library for Arts/Cultural information. we plan to solicit funds to enable the publication of a regular Information Bulletin on the Museum and the Arts and Crafts of the Cameroon Grassfields. Funds are to be sought to cover the cost of developing the workshop, store and conservation treatment room. Funds are also needed to enable further Museum purchases so as to cover more fully the arts and crafts of the Grassfields region
