The London & Surrey Mini Owners Club (LSMOC) have a membership of over 500. They organise the annual London to Brighton Mini Run along with numerous other Mini events.

Sevenoaks and District Motor Club organise sprints, hillclimbs and rallies. I have been a member for the last five years.

The K9 motorsport website has details of all major motorsport events, both track and rally. The site details places to stay, nearest petrol stations and gives the grid references for all major rally stages.

Santa Pod is the home of British Drag Racing. Although it no longer hosts the annual Mini shootout, its calender is still full of top class events featuring Top Fuel and Funny Car dragsters.

Mini World magazine is a monthly publication available from most newsagents. It specialises in all things Mini and contains features on cars and details of forthcoming Mini Events.

Mini Magazine is another monthly publication available from most newsagents and follows a similar format to that of Mini World.

Moose Motorsport is a friend of ours, Nick Crush. He owns a KAD 16v powered Mini and competes with us. The car is road legal although it is rarely used on the road. For details of his car, check out his site.

The official ITV Formula One website has all the news, gossip and race updates any self respecting F1 fan could possibly want.

The Ariel Atom is a 21st centuary variation of the Caterham 7. It has no bodywork, and the whole concept was designed around the theory of ‘if it doesn’t need it, it doesn’t have it’. This all adds up to an affordable sports car with near supercar performance.

Moospeed are a group of car fanatics who are building a 16v powered racing Mini. They seem to have a passion for painting their cars to look like cows.

Grahams Spaceframe website contains lots of pictures and details of spaceframe projects. There are Minis, Hilman Imps and other cars. A great source of information for anyone who wants the ultimate race car.

The Midlands Speed Championship Website. The championship caters for both hillclimbs and sprints and visits some of the most famous courses in the country.
