Story: Shinji: a 14 year old boy who has been chosen to pilot the Evangelion, a giant man-man robot type machine designed to combat the Angles. For most of the series there are three Evangelion units, one is piloted by Shinji another by a girl called Rei and the third by another girl, Asuka.

What we thought: The great anime every one has been raving about for years! Well, guess what. I plain don't like it. It's not original, the animation isn't outstanding and it's full of robots. Definitely designed for boys! If you like robots: watch it, love it and fantasise about the girls ... otherwise, don't bother!
