What we thought: Marmalade Boy is one of my all time favourites. It starts like your average anime and turns into total insanity; it then carries on as a romantic comedy. Unfortunately I dare say it also ends up as a "we now have completed the story but it is working too well to stop it now" and the end of the series suffers from a much weaker plot.
