Below are directions via the main approaches into
Nottingham. Scroll down to read the most relevant route.

Via M1 and A52:
Follow the M1 to the A52 to Nottingham. Follow directions to
Nottingham City Centre to Canning Circus (passing the Walton's Hotel on the
right and Scruffy Murphy's restaurant on the left). At Canning Circus follow the
brown signs towards Nottingham Castle, these will take you down Wollaton Street
(passing Ben Bowers Restaurant on the right hand side).
Keep to the right hand lane as you go down Wollaton Street and
you will bear right under an office building which bridges the road and leading
to a traffic island (with traffic lights) at the top of Maid Marian Way. Take
the 3rd exit from this island - this is the beginning of the Derby Road leading
out of Nottingham - and turn immediately first left into North Circus Street
(the Roman Catholic Cathedral is on the corner of this street and there is a
signpost for Nottingham Playhouse).
The Practice can be seen across the Circus Green as you enter
Wellington Circus from North Circus Street. There is on-street Pay and Display
parking on Wellington Circus and all of the adjoining streets (a supply of £1
and 50p coins would be useful - Pay and Display charges are 50p per 30 minutes
with a maximum stay of 2 hours) and the Mount Street NCP car park can be reached
by passing the Practice turning first right and then first left and is
approximately 150 yards away.
Via M1 and A453:
Approach Nottingham via M1 Junction 24
(A453), following A453 towards Nottingham City Centre. After passing Clifton and
the Clifton Site of the Nottingham Trent University, continue straight on at
traffic lights and on to elevated roadway section (Clifton Bridge), keeping to
left hand lane as this road swings to the left. At the first opportunity turn
off to the left following signs "City Centre" and "Park and Ride" - this road
rises over the road you have just left and then down onto Queen's Drive.
Continue along this road towards the City Centre (with the river on the right)
passing Homebase on the left. Continue straight on at these lights, then keep to
the left to carry straight on at the next lights, and over a hump backed bridge
over the canal, at the Narrowboat Pub.
At the traffic lights at the
"T"-junction turn right and then immediately left adjacent to Avis Car Rental
and the NCP Arndale Car Park, and join Maid Marian Way. Continue straight ahead
over the raised junction and passing the Tales of Robin Hood on the left. Follow
brown tourist signs towards Nottingham Playhouse, and at the island at the top
of Maid Marian Way take the first exit sign- posted Nottingham Playhouse and
Derby A52. Once you have left this island turn immediately first left into North
Circus Street.

maximum stay of 2 hours) alternatively the Mount Street NCP Car Park can be
reached by passing the practice, turning first right and then first left and is
approximately 150 yards away.
Via M1 and Junction 26:
From M1 Junction 26 follow all the signs
towards Nottingham City Centre, crossing Nottingham's Ring Road. As you approach
the City Centre you will go gradually up hill passing shops on both sides (Alfreton
Road) and leading to the Canning Circus road junction with the Running Horse pub
on the left. At Canning Circus follow the brown signs towards Nottingham Castle,
these will take you down Wollaton Street (passing Ben Bowers Restaurant on the
right hand side). Keep to the right hand lane as you go down Wollaton Street and
you will bear right under an office building which bridges the road and leading
to a traffic island at the top of Maid Marian Way.

Via Trent Bridge:
Approach Nottingham either on the A46 and
A52 or via Loughborough. When reaching the Nottingham ring road follow signs
towards the City Centre via West Bridgford and Trent Bridge, once at Trent
Bridge continue to follow signs towards City Centre avoiding left hand lane over
Trent Bridge, driving along London Road. At the traffic island after the hump
back bridge (which crosses the railway line), turn left following signs towards
Nottingham Castle and when the road becomes a one way street (near the Broad
Marsh Bus Station) take the right hand two lanes.
This will be sign posted again towards
Nottingham Castle. Once you have made a right turn against the NCP Arndale Car
Park, turn immediately left up Maid Marian Way following signs to Nottingham
Castle and Nottingham Playhouse. Carry straight on over the raised junction and
passing the Tales of Robin Hood on the left. At the island at the top of Maid
Marian Way take the first exit towards Nottingham Playhouse and turn immediately
left again into North Circus Street.
This leads into Wellington Circus and the
practice can be seen straight ahead across the Circus Garden. On-street Pay and
Display parking is available all round the Wellington Circus area (a supply of
£1 and 50p coins would be useful - Pay and Display charges are 50p per 30
minutes with a maximum stay of 2 hours) or alternatively the Mount Street NCP
car park is nearby.
Via Doncaster and A1:
From Doncaster follow the A1 to the A614.
Join the A614 and proceed until the junction with the A60 to Nottingham. Follow
the A60 for several miles, this road leads you into the Nottingham City Centre.
As you get very near the centre, the Moat House Hotel will be on your left and
New College Nottingham (Clarendon College) on your right.
Because there are major road works at the
Victoria Centre in Nottingham City Centre we recommend you turn right at the
double traffic island to go alongside the Forest Recreation Ground (on your
left), crossing the tram line and continuing through the Hyson Green area to the
next major set of traffic lights. Turn left towards Nottingham City Centre (Alfreton
Road).
