Facilities for the Disabled

The practice is situated in an early Victorian building with a short flight of steps to the front entrance; dedicated parking spaces for disabled badge holders are located nearby adjacent to Nottingham Playhouse and ordinary parking spaces immediately opposite the practice are usually available without charge to disabled badge holders.

Level access is available to the rear of the premises for wheelchair users and patients and visitors unable to negotiate steps. The waiting room and a consulting room are situated on the same, ground floor level and can be accessed by most wheelchair users.

All personnel are familiar with assisting patients and visitors with special needs and disabilities, including impairment of mobility, sight and hearing. If you have a disability please discuss your individual needs when booking the initial consultation.

In the event that our facilities do not accommodate your needs we will be pleased to arrange a home visit within the Greater Nottingham area.

Fee Structure

Initial Consultation £45

Subsequent Consultations £32

Health Insurance

Depending on the scheme, patients who are covered by private health insurance and who have been referred by their General Practitioner may be able to recover some or all of their fees from their insurers.

Patients intending to claim are asked to discuss this when booking their initial appointment so that the conditions of their insurance can be met. All private health insurers require patients to be referred by their General Practitioner for osteopathic treatment and for the claim to be authorised by the insurer before treatment is commenced.

In addition some insurers maintain a list of recognised specialists; at least one member of the practice is listed by all of the insurers who maintain recognised specialist lists. In the first instance please contact your insurer to ascertain whether a course of osteopathic treatment is eligible  for benefit under your scheme.
