Read the following passage and identify the important points or words
When sugar is mixed with water it completely disappears. It is said to be soluble. We say it has dissolved. Solids that do not dissolve are said to be insoluble.
A solid that dissolves is called a solute. A liquid that dissolves a solute is called a solvent. We can separate a mixture of an insoluble solid and a liquid by a process called filtration.
