BEAVERS
Beavers are the youngest
section. We take young people from 6 up to the
age of 8
years when they move on to Cubs.
At the 1st Hoveton and Wroxham, we now have 2 Beaver colonies.
Beavers have fun, play games and learn through doing and taking part.
Beavers also work
for badges. More information about the badges available for Beavers to
work on at home can be found further down this page.
We work towards other badges as part of our Beaver weekly programme.
If you would like to join in the fun, please go to our home page and
send
us an e-mail.

Requirements for Beaver Activity Badges
The Beaver activity badges are designed to encourage Beavers to take
part in new activities and to expand their horizons. We work on badges
as part of our normal Beaver programme, but Beavers can also choose to
work for other badges and can do this work at home or at school. Your
Section Leaders are there to help, so feel free to ask about any badge.
The things Beavers need to do for each badge are constantly being
changed and updated, and new badges regularly appear. You can get the
latest information about badges from Scoutbase. Just click on this
link.
