Group Information
The place to find out all about the 1st Hoveton and Wroxham Sea Scout Group
The twin village of Hoveton St John and Wroxham is in the East of England  in an area known as The Norfolk Broads. Actually it is one village cut in half by the River Bure. The area to the north of the river is Hoveton and the area to the south is Wroxham.
There has been a Scout Group in the area since 1910. For more details of our history, click on the history button.
We are a Sea Scout Group, so we do a lot of boating activities as well as normal Scouting. We currently have our own Topper and Enterprise sailing dinghies, Kayaks and other boats. We can often be found out on the water.
