Hello and welcome to my website
Hello. My name is Nigel and this is my website. Here you can
find out about me and all the things I am interested in. Just
click on the buttons below to explore the site.
I am retired and I live in the village of Ludham
which is in the East of England in an area
called The Norfolk Broads. I am married to
Christina and we have two sons, a grandson
and a grandaughter.
I grew up in the town of Chesterfield in
Derbyshire. My first job was at a local coal
mine (Silverhill Colliery). When I was 18, I
went to Liverpool University to study
Electronics. After this, I moved to London and
we lived in Bromley (South East London) for
27 years. I worked for BT in Central London
on many different engineering and marketing
projects before retiring and moving here to
Norfolk. I still do a bit of consultancy work for a
Dutch company KVSA.
I have got lots of hobbies and interests. These
include Scouting, Local History (The Ludham
Archive), Ham Radio, Computers, Making
models from Meccano, Boating on The Broads and much more. Click on the
buttons above for more information.
