Anti-Social Behaviour This I'm sure everyone will agree is totally unacceptable and its one of our main priorities to try and get it stopped. Since March 2005 a CCTV camera has been installed by the Tŷ Elan Doctors’ Surgery on the roundabout and is closely monitored at all times. We also have regular Police patrols by our local Community Beat Managers (CBMs) and Response Teams as well as the Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who also patrol at different times of the day. PC Alyn Smith runs regular Police Surgeries at Tŷ Elan Doctors’ Surgery on Ffordd Elan which is open to anyone on the local estates, he is there to listen to any problems or concerns you may have about issues on the estate. If there is anything you wish to be reported to Alyn but you can't get hold of him we are willingly to take a message from you and pass it on to him as we are in regular contact with him and other CBM's. Please don't feel that there is nothing to be done about Anti Social Behaviour; there is plenty that can be done. The first thing is to let the Police know about the problem. If you feel you can't do this because you are worried about repercussions please don't worry as all phone calls are treated in the strictest of confidence and if you request NOT to have a visit then an officer will not call on you. If you report an incident, always ask for an event number, this enables the Police to find anything you've reported quicker if you ring up and wish to add anything to the report. |
