Ken Perkins CSAF 75-77

Members will be sad to learn of the death of General Ken who died as a result of a heart attack on Friday 23 October.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 4 November and following Ken's wishes it will be, a private, family service with his coffin being carried by a group of his ex-SAF colleagues. 

It is understood that a service of thanksgiving will be held later, probably in London.

Bill de Bass was a member of the original RAMC 55 Field Surgical Team at RAF Salalah. . This site   contains  many interesting articles and photographs by members of the unit from its deployment in 1972 until it closed in 1977. It also includes some correspondence with former patients.
